Golf for Dummies
We golfed yesterday in the couple’s tournament. We were paired with John and Judy, two very nice people. We were hoping that our fine play would help the team win. However, between Denis and I we lost another 12 or so balls which certainly does not help with the score! This is the toughest golf course I have played. It started out good for me as I got two pars in a row then it kind of went south for me and although I was hitting the fairways my second shots were terrible. I’m not certain how long Denis can play this course before he feeds the alligator with his clubs! I guess its back to the golf books and videos for Denis. I did manage to take those pictures of the sand cranes.

On my way to the market
Even RVers are faced with chore lists that everyone eventually has to deal with like laundry, grocery shopping, get haircuts and puppy poodle parlours. Saturday was the day!
We dropped Keisha at the groomer and headed to Wal-Mart and when I was paying for my haircut I didn’t have my wallet. I had left it on the counter at Petco. In a panic, I raced back to the store and was relieved that they had it and had put my wallet in the safe. Whew.....dodged a big bullet. That wouldn’t have been fun at all. I didn’t have much money but I did have traveller cheques and all my cards.
After that excitement, we returned to do our grocery shopping and returned to the RV to wait for the call from Petco to pickup Keisha. We got the call around 6 p.m. It was a long day for Keisha so when she saw me she jumped in my arms and would let me put her down! This is Keisha with her do hairdo!!
Tonight I headed to the hot tub and very large pool. There was only one other person there so after he had gone I had the whole tub and pool to myself. Didn’t stay in the pool long – I heard splashing and got myself freaked out thinking that it could be an alligator that maybe snuck in the pool! I know..... stupid thoughts but it was dark I couldn’t see anything and this pool is not like the one in Daytona Beach which had lights in the pool and rope lighting all around the fence. I got out fast and laugh at how stupidly scared I was. It was probably the return flow valve.
